The impact of the crash sent both vehicles spinning out of control, causing one to crash into a Jeep and throw debris at a fourth vehicle. The driver of the Jeep sustained fatal injuries in the accident. She was rushed to a local hospital where she was declared deceased. The victim was identified as a 42-year-old woman from Murphy.
The driver of the first vehicle was transported to an area hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported in the crash. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
