Reports from the Odessa Police Department show that a red Challenger was traveling west on Interstate 20 when the vehicle collided head-on with a semi-truck tractor-trailer near the intersection with East Loop 338. The driver of the Challenger suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
