The 50-year-old Dallas woman driving the van was transported to a hospital in Dallas in critical condition. The victim was transporting several cats, and three of them were reportedly also hurt. The Dallas woman later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The drivers of the other two vehicles were also hurt and transported to local hospitals for treatment. Mesquite, TX (November 16, 2023) – On Monday, November 13, one person was killed and two were injured following a crash with an 18-wheeler in the Mesquite area. The deadly collision occurred at the 3000 block of Interstate 30 EB near Gus Thomasson Road at around 1 p.m. A semi-truck was traveling on the interstate when it lost control and hit a barrier on the highway before flipping onto its side. It hit a Honda minivan and two Toyota SUVs before coming to a rest.
