Reports from DPS show that 30-year-old Felecia Sarah-Rach Jefferies was driving an SUV north along US Highway 59 when her vehicle collided with a car driven by 21-year-old Di’ar M Johnson.
Jeffries and an 8-year-old girl were declared deceased at the scene of the accident. A 10-year-old boy inside the SUV was rushed to Shreveport Hospital with serious injuries. Johnson was transported to a hospital in Marshall for treatment of serious injuries. A passenger inside Johnson’s car, 21-year-old Mason Mitchell, was rushed to an area hospital in serious condition. Another passenger, who was identified as 24-year-old Edward Corielle Gray, was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
