Reports from authorities show that a pickup truck was turning onto the Texas Loop 390 near Scottsville Highway when it was struck by a semi-truck. Crews responded to the scene and immediately secured the area so they could remove the vehicles and restore the flow of traffic as quickly as possible.
The driver of the truck sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the accident.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
