The deadly collision was reported on Interstate 27 near mile marker 17 at around 3 a.m. Local reports revealed that 32-year-old Jermaine William Nord of Clovis, New Mexico had been involved in a separate collision on the interstate. He reportedly ran on foot from the median and into the outside lane of traffic.
