Reports from the LPD show that a 2011 BMW was traveling north on US Highway 87 while carrying four occupants when the vehicle collided with a 1998 Pontiac sedan at the intersection with 91st Street. The impact of the collision sent the Pontiac forward where it came to rest on the west side service road.
The driver of the Pontiac sustained injuries in the accident. The man was transported to University Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
