On February 4, authorities in Winkler County rushed to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident. Reports indicate that a small black sedan and a semi-truck collided along West State Highway 302, just two miles west of Kermit.
The incident resulted in extensive damage to the sedan. One person was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews.
Two victims were injured in this incident and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
