On April 7, authorities in Hurst responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 2100 block of East Hurst Boulevard. Reports indicate that a 62-year-old male was traveling along the roadway when he was struck by a motor vehicle in the roadway.
The bicyclist suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was rushed to Texas Health HEB via Hurst EMS immediately following the collision. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries upon arrival to the hospital.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation with the Hurst Police Department.
