Reports from authorities show that 40-year-old Jose Junior Lincoln was traveling east on Tyler Avenue in a pickup truck. As Lincoln’s vehicle passed through the intersection of Tyler Avenue and South Eye Street, it collided with a gray SUV. The two women inside the SUV, who were identified as 51-year-old Minerva Garza Partida and 27-year-old Ashley Partida, both suffered fatal injuries. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and declared both victims deceased.
Lincoln was seriously injured in the accident. He was subsequently rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Lincoln was arrested and has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter for this accident. At this time, the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
