The deadly accident was reported on Interstate 35 near Berry Street late that evening at around 9 p.m. It was initially reported that two vehicles were involved in a collision on the highway, and both vehicles were pulled over onto the shoulder. A truck then pulled over to assist at the scene, and that is when all three vehicles were hit by two oncoming semi-trucks.
A 31-year-old woman and a 25-year-old Oklahoma man were killed in the accident. A 21-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead, and her 23-year-old passenger was killed at the scene of the accident.
Two other people involved in the crash suffered critical injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, no additional information on the accident has been provided.
The identities of the involved parties have been withheld.
