At around 4:39 p.m., on February 10, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 740. Reports indicate that two vehicles collided head-on along the roadway between Glenn Cove and Markout Central.
One person involved in the collision was trapped inside their vehicle. Emergency crews extricated the victim before transporting them to Baylor University Medical Center for treatment.
A second victim was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, DPS is investigating.
