At around 8:30 p.m., on February 7, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 200 block of South Clark Drive. Reports indicate that a male was traveling in a wheelchair, near Iglesia Bautista Trinity Church when he was struck by a motor vehicle.
The man was rushed to University Medical Center in serious condition.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
