DWI Allegedly Causes 4-Car Crash

A collision involving four cars was allegedly the fault of a drunk driver, according to a report in the River Cities Daily Tribune. According to the report, the accident occurred at sometime around 5:30 PM during the last part of January. The man arrested was 44 years old, from Austin and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
The accident occurred when the accused drunk driver’s pick up traveled across lanes into oncoming traffic and collided with three vehicles. Seven people in the accident were injured, all of them were taken to the hospital, but none of them had life-threatening injuries, according to the report.
