Deanville, TX – 3rd Victim Dies From County Rd 127 (FM127) Explosion

Sherman, TX – Worker Killed in Accident on FM 1417 (N Heritage Pkwy)

At around 3:30 p.m., on January 29, officers from the Burleson County Sherriff’s Office, and several emergency crews, rushed to the scene of a gas well explosion off County Road 127.

According to reports, a group of 11 workers from the Eagle Pressure Control, C.C. Forbes, and Chesapeake were working on the Daniel H 1 H Well when it exploded.

One worker, who was identified as 38-year-old Windell Beddingfield, was killed instantly in the blast. Three others were airlifted from the scene to area hospitals.

On January 31, authorities confirmed a second victim injured in this workplace incident succumbed to his injuries.

Sadly, on February 1, authorities confirmed that a third victim, 25-year-old Brian Maldonado, succumbed to his injuries while in the Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas in Austin.

At this time, the third victim who was injured remains in a Houston hospital.
