Deadly Head-On Collisions in Texas

Dallas, TX - Two Killed in Head-On Truck Accident on Dallas N Tlwy

Certain types of car accidents are more likely to result in serious injuries. Head-on collisions are some of the most lethal types of crashes possible, and there is a strong chance that you will be seriously hurt if you are involved in one. These kinds of crashes are not too common and only make up an estimated 2 percent of reported collisions each year. Shockingly, despite being involved in a low number of crashes, head-on car accidents are a factor in almost 10 percent of traffic fatalities. More than 3,600 people are killed each year in head-on crashes, and many more are injured. It can seem impossible to deal with the loss of a close family member, and it is common for those closest to the deceased to be unsure of what to do next. Many families do not even consider taking legal action following a deadly car accident. As you deal with the various stages of grief, it may later become known that someone else’s negligence contributed to the fatal accident in some way. You need a trusted lawyer who will communicate honestly with you about your legal options and ability to pursue compensation after a deadly trucking accident. No one wants to turn the death of a loved one into a legal matter. However, this is often the only way to make sure you are able to make a recovery. Texas state law provides families with the opportunity to pursue wrongful death claims in order to make sure that the person responsible for a deadly crash is brought to justice. Most people have limited experience in the legal system, and you need to make sure that you take every step possible to maximize your recovery. Rasansky | McKenzie Law is here to stand by your side if you recently lost a loved one in a car crash. The person responsible should be brought to justice and made to cover your damages. If you have any questions about your ability to pursue a claim, contact an experienced Dallas wrongful death lawyer today at 214-651-6100.
