Head-On Collisions in Texas
Head-on collisions are some of the deadliest kinds of accidents that occur on American roadways due to the tremendous force involved. Victims are far more likely to suffer serious or fatal injuries when two vehicles traveling in opposite directions collide. Only 2 percent of reported crashes involve head-on collisions, according to statistics, but they still account for over 10 percent of fatal collisions annually. Drivers who veer into oncoming traffic, either due to general recklessness or poor road conditions, are typically the cause of head-on collisions.
