51-year-old William Clark (of Fort Worth) was traveling eastbound on NE Loop 820 at North Freeway, when his vehicle struck a piece of construction equipment at around 4:20 a.m. Saturday morning.
According to police spokeswoman Natosha Tucker, the accident occurred when the “construction equipment was changing lanes in the 2500 block of eastbound Loop 820.” Police believe that Mr. Clark did not see the equipment and crashed into it.
51-year-old William Clark was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before 5 a.m.
