Reports from authorities show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 6000 block of Middle Fiskville Road near the intersection with East Koenig Lane. The crash left the pedestrian severely injured.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the victim as police and firefighters worked to secure the area. The victim was then transported to Dell Seton for the treatment of critical and life-threatening injuries. No one else involved in the accident was injured.
At this time, the police in Austin are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
