Reports from authorities show that 19-year-old Abigail Walling was traveling north on Bell Street when her vehicle was struck by a second vehicle at the intersection with McCormick Road. The impact of the crash left both vehicles with moderate damage.

Walling sustained fatal injuries in the accident. A passenger in Walling’s vehicle, who was identified as 19-year-old Shailyn Hill, was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the second vehicle, Jesus Aguero, and his passenger were uninjured in the crash. Investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are currently underway.

Amarillo, TX (February 7, 2021) – One person has lost their life and a second person was left seriously injured following a vehicle collision in the Amarillo area on Friday morning. At approximately 11:50 a.m., on February 5, the Amarillo Police Department was requested to assist firefighters and paramedics at the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Bell Street.
