Local reports indicated that a Dodge Ram pickup truck was headed east in the westbound lanes of the highway. The truck collided head-on with an oncoming Ford. The driver of the Ford was killed in the collision. The deceased party was later identified as 18-year-old Aspen Blessing of Baird. The other driver was hospitalized for treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is underway.
