Weather and car accidents.

Storms Lead to Bad Car Accidents
The best advice in weather like this is to get off of the road altogether, if possible. Even if you’re an excellent driver and have no doubt about your ability to handle the conditions, that doesn’t mean that other drivers have the same level of ability or that they’re working as hard to drive safely. One negligent driver can be the difference between life and death in such situations.
There are cases where large vehicles, such as semis, lose control in this type of weather, as well. When those large vehicles go out of control, there is really nothing that’s going to stop them and, if you’re in their path, it could be a deadly situation. If you can, stay off the road until the weather passes and until it’s safe to drive again.
If you are on the road, slow down as much as you need to so that you could react before striking the car in front of you. This is usually around 2 seconds of time, which is also, unfortunately, a lot farther back than people usually stay behind the car in front of them.
If you’re injured by a negligent driver or if someone in your family is killed by a negligent driver, talk to a car wreck lawyer. Even if the weather is dangerous, people still have an obligation to make sure that they’re not endangering other drivers on the road. Sometimes, not doing so is considered negligence and you may be able to file a lawsuit.
