Wichita, TX (May 14, 2023) - Two people were killed following a pileup collision in the Wichita area on Sunday, May 14.
The deadly accident was reported on US-278 between Rifle Range Road and Farm to Market Road 369 at around 2:15 a.m. Local reports indicated that at least three semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle collided at the scene, and up to six vehicles were involved in the accident. The area was still closed as of 9:30 a.m.
Two people involved sustained fatal injuries in the accident. At this time, no additional information has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
