Fatal Semi-Truck Accidents in Texas

West, TX - Firefighter Fatally Hit by Semi-Truck on I-35Those traveling in passenger cars make up the majority of the fatalities in collisions between commercial vehicles and those in smaller cars. The passengers of a car typically sustain the most damage in a collision since it is so much smaller than a massive 18-wheeler.  Large semi-trucks can easily weigh 20 to 30 times more than a car or pickup truck. Due to its size and better ground clearance specifications, the passenger car is at risk of being completely totaled in the event of a collision.
