Waskom, TX (June 13, 2023) - A two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer outside of Waskom on Monday, June 12, resulted in the death of a Grand Saline man.
The fatal accident was reported on Interstate 20 at around 5:01 a.m. It was reported that a 42-year-old Grand Saline man was driving a Chrysler Town and Country was driving on the interstate when he was hit by a Freightliner Truck Tractor towing a semi-trailer. The impact caused the Chrysler to overturn.
The Grand Saline man suffered fatal injuries. The operator of the semi-truck was not hurt in the accident.
Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
