Waller, TX - One Killed, SUV Crashes Under 18-Wheeler at US-290 & Kickapoo Rd

Waller, TX (April 7, 2023) - On Monday, April 3, one person was killed after a two-vehicle collision in the Waller area. 

The fatal accident took place on US-290 near Kickapoo Road at around 12:45 p.m. It was reported that the driver of an SUV was traveling on the roadway when they collided with an 18-wheeler. The vehicle was trapped underneath the rig and it sustained significant damage in the crash. 

At least one person involved sustained fatal injuries. At this time, no additional information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is in progress.
