Tomball, TX - One Killed, Three Hurt in 18-Wheeler Accident at FM 2978 & Hufsmith Rd

Tomball, TX (December 17, 2023) - On Thursday, December 14, one person was killed and three others were injured after a collision in the Tomball area. The deadly accident was reported at the corner of Farm to Market Road 2978 and Hufsmith Road early that morning. An 18-wheeler and a passenger car reportedly collided at the scene. One person in the passenger vehicle was killed in the impact. 

Three other victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on their conditions have been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further information is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
