The deadly accident occurred at the corner of Buchanan Road and Wallace Drive that morning at around 6:30 a.m. The 31-year-old Texarkana man was riding a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle headed southbound. A truck attempted to make a turn in front of the motorcyclist, and the two vehicles collided.
The rider was transported to a hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead. Two passengers in the other vehicle were also injured and hospitalized for treatment. No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
