The fatal crash was reported on US-80 near County Road 309 at around 12:50 p.m. It was reported that a semi-truck was traveling east when a westbound Ford Edge SUV turned into the path of the commercial rig. Both vehicles collided.
There were two people traveling in the SUV, and one was pronounced dead at the scene. Another occupant was transported to Baylor University Medical Center for treatment.
