San Angelo, TX - One Injured in Rear-end Collision on Sherwood Way

San Angelo, TX (March 23, 2024) - On Friday, March 22, one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash in the San Angelo area. The accident was reported at the 5500 block of Sherwood Way when a silver Honda collided with the rear of a Lincoln that was traveling ahead. Emergency responders were present to provide the necessary aid to the injured parties. 

The area was temporarily closed as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. The driver of the Honda was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries. No other injuries have been reported at this time. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
