San Angelo, TX - Motorcyclist Dies in Truck Crash at US-87 & Brodnax Ln

San Angelo, TX (April 10, 2024) - A motorcyclist was killed after being involved in a crash with a commercial truck in the San Angelo area on Tuesday, April 9. The fatal accident was reported on US-87 NB near Brodnax Lane that afternoon. Local reports revealed that a semi-trailer headed north on the highway began to slow down leading up to the collision. 

The motorcyclist was traveling behind the semi-truck and was unable to stop in time to avoid crashing into the rear of the rig. The rider suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The area was temporarily closed as emergency crews were present.
