San Angelo, TX - Injuries in Rear-end Crash at Sherwood Way & Buick Dr

San Angelo, TX (April 24, 2024) - A driver was injured after a rear-end collision in the San Angelo area on Monday, April 22. The accident was reported at the 4100 block of Sherwood Way near Buick Drive that afternoon around 12:15 p.m. Local reports revealed that a woman was heading westbound in a Cadillac at the time of the crash. 

For unknown reasons, the woman was unable to stop and crashed into the rear of a Chevrolet Malibu. The impact caused the Chevy to hit a nearby pickup truck. The vehicles were stopped at a light ahead of the Cadillac, but the driver was unable to avoid hitting the Malibu. The driver of the Cadillac was transported to Shannon Emergency Room for the treatment of sustained injuries. No additional injuries have been reported at this time. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
