San Angelo, TX - Driver Hurt in Major Crash at FM 2288 & Arden Rd

San Angelo, TX (March 22, 2024) - There were confirmed injuries after a serious vehicle collision in the San Angelo area on Wednesday, March 20. The crash was reported at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 2288 and Arden Road at around 5 p.m. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. 

Local reports indicated that a late model Chevrolet 2500 HD pickup truck, a red GMC Terrain, and a blue GMC SUV were involved in the crash. The pickup reportedly was missing its grill, and a highway stopp sign was knocked down during the collision. The GMC SUV crashed into a ditch, and its airbags deployed in the crash. It was later revelaed that the driver of the SUV failed to yield the right of way. One of the drivers was transported to Shannon ER for treatment of sustained injuries No one in the pickup was hurt. An ongoing investigation into the cause of teh accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
