Roby, TX (May 29, 2023) - On Thursday, May 25, a 15-year-old motorcyclist was killed following a crash involving a semi-truck in the Roby area.
The deadly accident was reported on Highway 80 near Ammons Road at around 7:30 p.m. It was reported that the teen was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle headed east on the highway when they were hit by an oncoming semi-trailer truck.
The child suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The 47-year-old driver of the rig was also injured in the accident. No more information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
