Odessa, TX - Delfino Acosta-Contreras Killed in Semi Crash on Loop 338

Odessa, TX (November 18, 2023) - On Tuesday, November 14, a man was killed following a crash involving an 18-wheeler in the Odessa area. The accident was reported on Loop 338 EB near Bates Field Road at around 9:58 a.m. Local reports revealed that 64-year-old Delfino C. Acosta-Contreras was traveling westbound on Hammett Road when he collided with an international truck. He then crashed into a Freightliner truck towing a trailer. 

Acosta-Contreras sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
