Midland, TX - One Dead in Crash with Semi-Truck at TX-158 & S CR 1140

Midland, TX (November 21, 2023) - On Sunday, November 19, one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in the Midland area. The deadly accident was reported that evening at around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of TX-158 and S. County Road 1140. Local reports indicated that 49-year-old Robin Lynn Vance Greer of Odessa was driving a 2005 Ford Escape headed north on County Road 1140. At the same time, 68-year-old Carl Lee Tucker of Bangs was traveling eastbound in a 2018 International truck. 

Greer crashed into the side of Tucker’s rig. Greer suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No additional information has been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
