The deadly accident was reported on TX-158 at around 2:56 a.m. A 32-year-old Midkiff man was driving a pickup truck when he crashed into a trailer towed by a truck. The driver was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. 

No other injuries have been reported at this time. No additional information has been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
