Lubbock, TX - Three Hurt in Collision at 70th St & University Ave

Lubbock, TX (April 14, 2024) - There were confirmed injuries after a car crash in the Lubbock area on Saturday, April 13. The accident was reported late that evening at the crossing of 70th Street and University Avenue. Local reports revealed that two vehicles collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render the necessary aid to the involved parties. Two people were trapped inside a vehicle, and they had to be extricated by responding officials. Three people were injured in the crash, and they were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Two were listed in moderate condition, with the other reportedly sustaining minor injuries. The area was temporarily closed as emergency personnel were present.
