Laredo, TX - Two Hurt in Ambulance Crash at TX-255 & FM 3338

Laredo, TX (April 19, 2024) - On Tuesday, April 16, two people were injured after a crash involving an ambulance in the Laredo area. The accident was reported at the intersection of TX-255 and Farm to Market Road 3338 early that morning. Local reports revealed that the ambulance was headed westbound responding to an emergency call at the time of the crash. 

The ambulance was reportedly trying to turn onto FM 3338 when it was hit by an oncoming trailer. Two paramedics in the Angel Care ambulance were injured in the collision. Both were hospitalized for treatment. One of the injured parties was airlifted to Rio Grande Valley Hospital in critical condition. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
