Deadly Semi-Truck Accidents in Texas
Trucking accidents happen everywhere in the United States, but Texas is particularly vulnerable to these types of dangerous collisions. The state topped a recent list of the nation’s most dangerous roads, with 3,305 fatal motor vehicle crashes reported in 2018. Some highways have speed limits of up to 85 miles per hour. A fully loaded semi-truck needs 525 feet, or over two football fields, to stop when driving at just 65 miles per hour. It is no wonder that catastrophic crashes involving these big rigs are so common in Texas.
The devastating loss of a loved one cannot be undone and will have an ongoing impact on you for the rest of your life. Your family could be required to manage your loved one’s affairs and plan services while also trying to mourn the deceased.
