Houston, TX - Woman Critically Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on I-10

Houston, TX (November 23, 2023) - On Tuesday, November 21, a woman suffered critical injuries following a two-vehicle crash in the Houston area. The accident occurred on Interstate 10 near Highway 6 late that evening at around 11 p.m. Local reports indicated that a woman was driving a Hyundai Sonata when she changed lanes in front of an 18-wheeler. The trucker crashed into her car, causing both vehicles to then collide in the high-occupancy vehicle lane. 

The woman was trapped inside the Hyundai and had to be extricated by emergency responders. She was later sent to a local hospital in critical condition. The 61-year-old trucker was not harmed in the accident. No additional information on the collision is currently available.
