Houston, TX - Pedestrian Killed in Crash at I-45 & Little York Rd

Houston, TX (March 4, 2024) - Early on Sunday morning, March 3, a pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the Houston area. The deadly accident was reported on Interstate 45 NB near Little York Road at around 4:47 a.m. The victim was traveling on foot when they were struck by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

The at-fault driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured party. At this time, no description of the suspect vehicle has been provided. All northbound lanes on the road were temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. 

The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not been provided a this time.
