Houston, TX - Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Truck on W Mount Houston Rd

Houston, TX (January 15, 2024) - A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a truck in the Houston area on Saturday, January 13. The deadly accident took place at the 2500 block of W. Mount Houston Road at around 9:50 p.m. A pedestrian was crossing the roadway when they were struck by an oncoming truck. 

The impact knocked the victim about 150 feet from the crash site. The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. At this time, no additional information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
