Houston, TX - Pedestrian Dies in Crash on I-10 near Hwy 6

Houston, TX (March 16, 2024) - On Thursday, March 14, a pedestrian was killed after a collision in the Houston area. The deadly accident occurred on Interstate 10 near Highway 6 early that morning at around 3:50 a.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched after being notified of a pedestrian-vehicle accident. 

When authorities arrived, they found a pedestrian who was missing a leg after being struck by a motor vehicle. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A damaged vehicle was later found down the Katy Freeway. It was later revealed that the car was initially on fire after the accident, and two vehicles were involved in the incident. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
