Houston, TX - Pedestrian Dies in Crash at I-45 & W Mount Houston Rd

Houston, TX (March 20, 2024) - A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the Houston area on Monday, March 18. The fatal crash was reported on Interstate 45 near W. Mount Houston Road late that night at around 8 p.m. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene after being notified of a pedestrian-vehicle crash. 

Local reports indicated that a 46-year-old man was traveling northbound on foot when he was hit by a Nissan Sentra. The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased party has been withheld. No further updates on the deadly crash are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
