Houston, TX - Injuries in Semi-Truck Accident at TX-610 & Lockwood Dr

Houston, TX (April 8, 2024) - There were confirmed injuries following a crash in the Houston area on Sunday, April 7. The collision was reported that afternoon around 2:55 p.m. on TX-610 WB near Lockwood Drive. A crash involving an 18-wheeler was blocking two right lanes on the roadway. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. A person was reportedly trapped underneath the rig. The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending paramedics. Those requiring further support were later transferred to local hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the scene of the resulting debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
