Dallas, TX - Woman, Child Killed Fatally Struck on Spring Valley Rd

Dallas, TX (February 21, 2024) - A woman and a young girl were killed after a serious pedestrian crash in the Dallas area on Tuesday afternoon, February 20. The deadly accident was reported on Spring Valley Road west of US-75 at around 4 p.m. The pair was walking along the roadway when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

The wounded pedestrians were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Both were later pronounced dead at the medical facility. The driver involved in the collision reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. 

At this time, no additional information on the deadly pedestrian accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are managing an ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision. More updates will be released as they become available.
