Dallas, TX - Pedestrian Crash Kills Two at Spring Valley & Esperanza Rd

Dallas, TX (March 7, 2024) - On Tuesday, March 5, a pedestrian was killed after a vehicle collision in the Dallas area. The fatal accident took place at around 4 p.m. at the corner of Spring Valley Road and Esperanza Road. Local reports indicated that a black Dodge Challenger hit a woman and a small child at the scene. 

The driver involved stopped to render aid to the crash victims. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. The mother and daughter were transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. 

Both pedestrians suffered fatal injuries and were later pronounced dead. The adult victim was later identified as 26-year-old Joselin Borjas Paogada. The identity of the other victim has been withheld. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
