Cross Plains, TX - Delaware Man Killed, Several Hurt in Pileup Crash on TX-206

The roads were wet, and the semi-trailer started to sway, causing the pickup to veer into oncoming traffic. The Ford crashed head-on with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by 19-year-old Andrew Bryce Spencer of Smyrna. Cerda and his four passengers were hurt in the crash and transported to Hendrick North for treatment. Spencer was critically injured, and his passenger, 28-year-old Trisan Andrew Reidhaar of Viola, Delaware, was killed in the impact.

A 2018 Honda Accord crashed into the Ford’s trailer, and both occupants were hospitalized. A 2019 Honda Civic lost control trying to avoid the crash site, and the driver was treated at the scene. Authorities reported that the incident was caused by the Ford truck losing control. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Tristan Andrew Reidhaar at this time. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
