Cleburne, TX - 6 Killed, 3 Hurt in Head-On Crash at US-67 & CR 1119

Cleburne, TX (January 1, 2024) - Six people are dead, and three others were injured following a two-vehicle collision in the Cleburne area on Tuesday, December 26. The deadly collision was reported at the crossing of US-67 and County Road 1119 that afternoon in Johnson County. It was reported that a pickup truck was headed southbound on US-67 when it entered oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a northbound minivan. 

Seven people were traveling in the minivan, including the driver, 28-year-old Rushil Barri. Barri was one of the people killed in the crash, and everyone else in the van was also killed, except for one passenger who was listed in critical condition. Two Glen Rose residents in the pickup were also hospitalized for treatment. No additional information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
